Went and saw Charlie And The Chocolate Factory yesterday at 1:40pm. Overall, I thout the movie was dull. It was bright yet cold. It didn't have the same friendly and sweet type of feeling than the original. the outside of the factory looked like a stone prison. the oompa loopma's varied in size depending on what was happening in the movie. Johnny Depp looked like a dead corpse, and I dunno who said that he wasn't trying to impersonate Michael Jackson, because you could have fooled me he could have been a stunt doubl for all I know. Overall I give it a C+ sure the film editing was great, but it was not an entertaining movie, and the soundtrack was absolutely terrible. I'm sure your children will enjoy it though, I guess that's who the movie was really meant for.
